Wireless Keyboard A1843. An FCC ID is the product ID assigned by the FCC to identify wireless products in the market. The FCC chooses 3 or 5 character 'Grantee' codes to identify the business that created the product. For example, the grantee code for FCC ID: BCGA1843 is BCG. This model of the Apple keyboard also has two down-stream USB 2.0 ports, one at each end of the keyboard (like M2452 and M7803). This model was renamed as the 'Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad' after the release of the A1242 model in March 2009. This model was discontinued on 5 June 2017 and was the last wired keyboard produced by Apple. When it's time to charge your device's battery, connect a Lightning to USB cable to its Lightning port, then connect the other end of the cable to your Mac or a USB power adapter.

For the fastest battery charging performance, be sure your device is switched on when connecting the Lightning to USB cable.

Magic

Magic Keyboard, Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad, and Magic Trackpad 2 can be used while charging. Magic Mouse 2 is unavailable for use while charging.
