eBay has been catering to the e-commerce business since 1995. This makes it a trustable marketplace. The marketplace started as a mediation platform for auction-style listings in the beginning. But, as time went fixed price listings also emerged as a popular choice for sellers and buyers. The marketplace is substantially popular in the US and the EU. eBay has recently launched its eCommerce website. This website is launched under eBay’s Certified Refurbished Program. Under this program, eBay has decided to sell used or unused refurbished products that look and work as new. Additionally, eBay is giving a two-year warranty on all the goods sold on the eCommerce site.

Configuring eBay Accounts ↑ Back to top
After installing the plugin, you can access it by hovering over CedCommerce, present in the left sidebar, and clicking on eBay in the menu which appears.
You’ll be presented with a section where you can add your eBay Seller Account. But before you do that, in the top right click on the gear icon beneath the big blue ‘Add Account’ button. After clicking, a page will open in a new tab. On this page you have to select the application keys which you want to use as well as Sandbox Mode or Production Mode. Applicaton keys are used to generate eBay token so that the plugin can access your eBay Seller Account. After that, click on the box in the bottom right and you’ll see two options, Sandbox Testing Mode and Production Mode.
Sandbox testing mode is usually used to check if we are able to access eBay APIs to perform operation such as Product upload, product update, product import and inventory update. While using Sandbox testing mode, no products are uploaded to your eBay Seller Account but rather to a developer sandbox account.
Production mode is used to perform listing actions on your eBay Seller Account.
Select the Production Mode and click on the button labeled ‘Save Application Details’ to save your preference.
We can now begin adding your eBay Account. In order to do that, click on Add Account button, a window will slide from above. In this window, select your eBay Marketplace Location and then click on the ‘Authorize’ button. Upon clicking, a popup window will open where you have to log in using your eBay Credentials. After entering your eBay credentials click on ‘Sign In’ and you’ll be asked to Grant Access to the CedCommerce application to access your eBay account on your behalf. When you have granted access, a page will appear asking you to close the browser window (or popup). You can safely do so and after closing the popup window, click on the Fetch Token button. If the login has been successful, the page will reload and you’ll see your eBay Account name, location, and a button to begin configuring it.
If you have made an eBay multi-account plugin purchase, you can repeat the steps above for all of your accounts.
